Our Story

A Private Getaway Unlike Any Other

Saint Ollaff was once a bustling island. It has always been known as a spot for fun — ships in the Caribbean would stop at St. Olaff for fun and mischief in the crowded towns, especially the one by the harbor.

By the time our resort broke ground in 1957, the island had long been a favorite hideaway for sailors, merchants, and pirates who preferred their privacy. It took almost a decade to build — a remote location makes shipping materials a challenge — but in 1966 St. Ollaff Resort opened its doors.

Today the old towns are mere ruins and the resort is the only business on island, giving you the perfect private getaway. No cruise ships, no crowds — just you, the sea, and a hint of buried treasure.
